Mike Jones
Hi, I’m Mike Jones, a native Austinite, and a seasoned realtor since 1996 with experience in the Austin and surrounding area. My family has a long history of real estate investment, leasing and property management so I grew up learning the business from the inside out.
My unique experience and knowledge of residential real estate makes me valuable to my clients whether they want to invest, sell, buy or lease. I’m proud to say I’ve spent my entire professional real estate career with JBGoodwin Realtors. Our company is customer focused and we are here to help and truly mean it.
Aside from my time in real estate, I worked as a legislative and then executive assistant to the Texas governor, and as Director of Public Affairs for the Texas Highway Patrol Association. I did a year long stint in Washington, D.C. lobbying on law enforcement related issues. St. Edward’s University in Austin is my alma mater, have a degree in political science and was President of the Student Government Association.
To best describe me: I’m congenial, responsive, resourceful, dedicated, easy going and fun loving. As your realtor I focus on your well being and work hard to make your real estate transactions as seamless as possible.
At the office my unofficial title is that of Social Director and I enjoy all sorts of social activities both organized and impromptu. My dogs, running at Town Lake and home renovation take up a lot of my spare time, but I still find time to enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, skiing and fishing. My summer visits to our family home in Maine are always a great break and quite a change from Austin. I’m happy to call Austin home and I hope you make it yours too.
