Hello there! I’ll start off by introducing myself, my name is Laz Walck. I graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. My first job out of college moved me to Huntsville, TX to help “at-risk” youth stay out of trouble. After 9/11 happened I knew being a police officer was in my DNA because my dad was one for 38 years, and ultimately that is what I wanted to do. I joined the Lubbock Police Department in January of 2002. I did 6 years as a patrol officer and 14 years as a detective. I also pursued my Master’s in Public Administration at Texas Tech University while I was in Lubbock. I retired with 20 years of service in January of 2022 and moved to New Braunfels, where I have been wanting to be for years.

To escape the stresses of life and work, I found my joy to be around water. In my off time while the weather is good, you can probably find me on my boat on a lake somewhere, floating the river or around any type of water on the weekends during the summer. In addition, I have seven half marathons under my belt, and I am hoping to complete a full marathon someday. I also have three beautiful rescue doggies that keep me busy and have my heart.

So, WHY ME? Service to others has been my whole life. I genuinely love helping people. It is what I’m passionate about. Regarding real estate, I have also moved and relocated a few times. I have been through the process of buying my first home, as well as selling and buying other homes along the way. I understand the buying or selling process and have learned some hard lessons along the way. I want to make sure your experience is a great one.

I want to help you. I want you to be able to sleep at night knowing you are in good hands OR if you can’t sleep it’s because you’re doing your happy dance from being so excited (I’ve been there! ha) I want to be excited with you whether it’s buying your first home, relocating to God’s Country, upgrading or downsizing to a new home or calling a seller saying we have an offer on your house!
