Jen Zavaglia

Born and raised in South Texas, my husband and I moved to Leander in 2008 following our active duty time with the Army in Hawaii. We moved to Round Rock in 2018. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and a Master’s degree in Information and Library Science from the University of North Texas. I served 13 years within the Army Reserve and Texas Army National Guard as a Human Resources officer and instructor.

From my own military background and my professional career as a librarian, I pride myself on serving others and providing an exceptional customer experience. 

My other passions include my family and community. My husband, Matthew Zavaglia, and I have been married for 17 years. He is a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator for Nexa Mortgage and a Field Artillery Officer in the Texas Army National Guard. We have three children, Maddox, Jackson, and Jillian.  I volunteer as the President for my children’s elementary PTA. Obviously as a librarian, I love to read, but I also manage a successful book blog, "That’s What She’s Reading," connecting readers to their next great read with reviews and promotions.
