While sharing in the warm weather that the rest of the state is known for, Serenada occupies a relatively lush area of the Lonestar State. With Buchanan, Travis, Jim Hogg, Cedar Breaks, Russel, Walnut Spring and Sawyer Park lakes all within easy driving distance, residents of Serenada have no shortage of options when it comes to finding a prime spot to cool off or fish.

Take the Highway 35 north to visit Waco, or south to Georgetown or Austin. Georgetown Municipal Airport is also just a short drive away for small-aircraft trips.

Around Serenada's southwest corner, at the intersection of Williams Drive and Shell Road, residents can enjoy a range of fast-food outlets and stores. The local shopping district also includes a selection of salons, skincare spas, and exercise centers.

Yoga, dance, and gymnastics facilities are also located along Shell Road at the northern end of Serenada. While along Williams Drive, on the southern most point of Serenada, those looking for a family night-out could visit Catfish Parlour restaurant - a family owned purveyor of fine fried catfish, homemade hush puppies, and signature coleslaw.
