Oh the SATs. Those little three or four digit numbers can define a student's future education. SAT scores are the bane of many high school students' existence. Some prepare all year to take the tests, some prepare the night before. A neighborhood can play a big part in the success of a student during test time, as students who attend high-quality schools in the area can receive top studying techniques. By living in any of the Austin neighborhoods mentioned below, parents will be giving their children an ideal opportunity to earn an education from some of the finest schools in the area.
Not only are SAT scores important for the student, but they are also important for businesses to assess the quality of schools in an area. Schools who regularly have a high SAT average will begin to establish a reputation for the quality of students who pass through their doors. Businesses will want to be mindful of the education their applicants have received to determine if they are a good fit for the company. Businesses may also look at Austin’s real estate growth from a population standpoint and determine whether graduates are looking for homes for sale in Austin, or leaving the area to attend college elsewhere.
