Tarrytown Real Estate

What's very appealing about the Tarrytown real estate market is the sheer variety of homes for sale. While predominantly spacious single-family homes, it is possible to find Tarrytown condos and as well as high end apartment buildings. For single-family residences, homebuyers can expect to find mansions of all shapes and sizes in addition to charming 1920s cottages and larger homes of generous tree-lined lots.

What Tarrytown homes have in common, however, is their big price tags. You'll be hard pressed to find a home for under $500,000 and it is quite common to see homes priced into the millions.

Tarrytown Shopping & Dining

Tarrytown Shopping Center at the corner of Windsor Rd. and Exposition is reportedly the oldest shopping center in Austin. It gained notoriety a few years ago when Jeanne Daniels inherited the center and banned the sale of meat, thus essentially closing long time gathering spot, The Holiday House. It is still home to the local coffee shop Texenza, Pak Mail, the Post Office and others.

Austin foodies will love Food Food, a hidden gem of a bakery serving up some delicious sandwiches and sweet treats. Texenza Coffee is a popular spot with students as it offers free Wi-Fi access. Fabi and Rosi serves up world class dining from its humble location. A symphony for the taste buds!
