More About Southwest Austin Communities

Southwest Austin real estate market is dominated by traditional suburban homes in a variety of shapes and sizes. From bungalows and ranch homes to larger, multi-story luxury homes, there's a home for every budget. While some areas offer smaller lawns that are easier to maintain, further Southwest these give way to sprawling, woody yards where ancient oaks and local wildlife intermingle. Just 20 minutes from downtown Austin, Circle C Ranch has long been one of most impressive developments on the Southwest Austin real estate map. The Homeowners' Association (HOA) maintain four four community pools, parks, and walking trails lined with regional wildflowers, and locals enjoy easy access to Grey Rock Golf and Tennis Club. Homes here range from spacious to spectacular, but all have been quality built to stand the test of time. This is a place your family can settle for a very long time.

In fact, Hielscher's the kind of place where a sense of serenity and community exist in equal measure.

Legend Oaks

Maple Run

It's not unusual to community members gathered at the local pool and pavilion, and many locals appreciate the close proximity to HEB, Costco, Whole Foods, and the ever-popular Alamo Drafthouse as well.

Oak Hill

Oak Hill describes a collection of desirable communities situated on the former city outskirts. Given that these neighborhoods support more than 24,000 residents, you're sure to find a lot of options here, with more rural properties--and larger lots--found more commonly as you travel southwest. Still, don't let Oak Hill's seclusion fool you. It's still just a 20-minute commute from downtown Austin, making it a perfect paradise that's within reach of culture, employment, and entertainment.

Travis Country offers homes with longer histories than those in other Southwest Austin community, with many built in the 1970s and 1980s, but local homeowners show a typical Texan pride that's reflected in careful maintenance and modern upgrades that ensure that these properties will remain lovable for decades to come. Both luxury homes and typical family homes are available, and most properties offer mature landscaping and quiet streets as a bonus.
