I am Tamra Lavin and I moved to Austin in 1990, from Phoenix, Arizona where I was born and raised, to be closer to family. I now live in Round Rock and love it. I became a realtor because I was ready to run my own business with the goal of helping people like they are family. About my professional side....
Before becoming a realtor, I spent 15 years working in the accounting field as an accounts receivable accountant, an accounts payable accountant, and a grants accountant for the State of Texas and Sodexho, Inc. Before my accounting career, I worked in a variety of customer service positions, such as a department store clerk, a receptionist, an installation coordinator for an HVAC company, and a customer complaint resolution representative. I also have a Bachelors Degree in Project Management, which I earned from ITT Technical Institute in 2013, graduating as valedictorian of my class.
About my personal side....
I am married to my wonderful husband, Bob, who is an Elevator Service Technician and President of the local elevator union. I also have a daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters, all of whom I am very proud. When I'm not involved in real estate work, I like to cook (and eat), read (whodunit's are my favorite), and travel with friends and family. FYI - I'm an HGTV junky, too!
