“Be kind to others” and “Always help people” have been two of my life long mantras.  At times this could be difficult, but through patience and understanding, it has been golden.  I have used these mantras in all of the businesses I have been involved in with great success.  Here at JBGoodwin REALTORS, I have found a home with a company that has my same belief in how people should be treated.  That is, “We are here to help you”.  I really enjoy helping people find their dream homes, starting with finding out what my client wants, to visiting property after property until we find the “right one”. That is the one property that they can emotionally connect with and see themselves living in.  And lastly, to fulfilling all of the duties and responsibilities that go with my being their real estate agent.

I have been involved in real estate for about ten years now with investment properties, property management, remodeling of properties, along with the selling and purchasing of properties.  My husband and I have performed renovations of our own properties where I learned a huge amount how a house breathes, how to install sheetrock, tile, wood flooring, plaster and finally painting. Evidently I am very good at plastering and painting!  Why am I telling you this? Because as a buyers agent, I have an eye for seeing things that can be used in negotiations, as a sellers agent, I know what people are going to try to use as negotiations! I also know what will help your home to sell.

My husband and I have lived in the Austin area for eight years now.  We live at a private airport community where my back yard is literally connected to the runway!  We love watching our neighbors take off and land.  Sometimes we will give them a score on how “well” then landed.  We do the same to ourselves when we have a “bouncy” landing.  But hey, we love where we live, love our neighbors and love to go flying.

We have three children.  Our oldest daughter has given us three outgoing grandsons!  They were all three born within a three year period!  Not only is our oldest daughter a busy mother and wife, but also a successful author and graduate of UT Austin.  Our second daughter is a project management specialist and she attended Baylor University. Our son chose to attend TSTC and is now an electrician. He just married his (Aggie) sweetheart this past summer in Durango, Colorado.  We are looking for more grandbabies!

At this point, I would like to say “Thank You” for taking the time to read my bio.  I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you and helping you to find that perfect place to call home.
