Real Estate was my first career. I moved from real estate into a successful career in the high tech world of computers. I provided customer support to computer users and managed customer relations with business partners. I found ways for them to accomplish their goals. Now, I have returned to real estate and doing what I like the most, helping people.
Having lived in Austin since 1978, I have grown along with the city. JBGoodwin REALTORS® was already here and doing a thriving business when I arrived in Austin.
At JBGoodwin REALTORS®, there is a lot of teamwork in an effort to provide quality service. In fact, the Company’s Mission Statement is simply to “Help People”. I definitely enjoy assisting people with their real estate needs and I always get a thrill when clients are happy.
Part of that commitment to help people is the Military on the Move (MOM) program. This program was developed by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global network of over 500 Premier real estate firms. JBGoodwin REALTORS® is one of those Premier firms. The MOM program provides free rebates and information to active service personnel and those service personnel that have separated from active duty. As a member of the JBGoodwin REALTORS® team, I actively participate in that program.
While I enjoy looking at homes and all of their nuances, meeting new people on a daily basis is rewarding and is what I enjoy the most. Whether it is buying, selling or leasing, I get great satisfaction in working with you to reach your goals and in exceeding your expectations.
I also have an eye for “good bones” in homes in need of repair and along with my team of craftsman, we have remodeled many homes. This is fun for me, especially getting involved in kitchen, bathroom and landscape design!
Outside of work, I enjoy travel, reading great books, cooking and working with Mobile Loaves and Fishes and other worthy organizations.
BBA from the University of Texas in Management Information Systems plus 40 hours of programming courses and project management training.

I have to preface this by saying I was a relatively unusual circumstance. I was breaking a lease at an apartment complex for cause. I was up front about this with Linda and she was very helpful right from the get go, starting with asking me if I knew the impact on my credit would be down the road if I didn't go about doing so correctly. She was concerned about my rental ability down the road, not just right away. I let her know all the steps I had gone through to make sure I would not be impacted down the road and she said it sounded like I should be okay. It immediately put me at ease with her that she was concerned about my long term potential, not just what impacted her ability to rent to me right now.
Linda proceeded to ask my preferred locations, if I needed a bus line, things I really hadn't even thought of that made it much easier to narrow down my search for a place to relocate to where I felt safe and sound. She only had to show me one place after I thoroughly plied over the options she put in my "basket". After that, she worked with the landlord's contact and explained to him some of my outstanding circumstances, that would have otherwise kept me out of the condo I wanted to rent. Because of her assistance, I was able to take possession of the place in less than 2 weeks. It was seamless and I'm so much happier in the new place. My landlord is very sweet and I think it was a perfect match for both of our needs. Thank you, Linda, for everything.
