Sarah Berry

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and I am a proud fourth-generation Austinite. I attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, followed by McCallum High School. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2002. After college, life took me on a different path than I had anticipated. Volunteering as an ESL teacher in New Orleans, I found that I had a gift for teaching, and I decided to pursue a Masters in Bilingual Education at Texas State University.

I taught English in Cuernavaca, Mexico for two years and then returned to Austin and began teaching in Austin ISD. I enjoyed teaching hundreds of children ranging from Kindergarteners to fourth graders. During my tenure, I became a National Board Certified teacher, worked hand-in-hand with parents and students, and was voted teacher of the year by my colleagues. As a teacher, I honed my skills as an active listener, a creative communicator, and an innovative problem solver, all of which serve me well as a real estate agent. I left teaching in 2021 to pursue other passions, and for the past year I have been working as a personal assistant, traveling regularly between New York City and Austin. I thoroughly enjoy the flexibility of working from anywhere and being able to spend lots of time with my miniature dachshunds Chiquita and Siesta. I also enjoy traveling, baking and spending quality time with my large extended family.

Becoming a real estate agent and helping people find the home of their dreams has been a goal of mine for many years, and now I get to make my dream a reality.  I am lucky to have this career in this city that I know and love, working for a company that is known for its competence and knowledge of Central Texas. I will work for you and do all I can to help you reach your real estate goals. Being a life-long learner and a teacher at heart, I am prepared to put in the hours to get an A+ from you!
