Robert McCall
After moving to Belton Texas in 2019 to pursue my education and athletic dreams, I quickly understood what makes this community such a great place to live. The small town feel reminds me of how Seguin Texas was when I was growing up. From fishing at Lake Belton or Stillhouse Hollow Lake to hiking in one of our many parks, there is always an adventure waiting just around the corner. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor has a good community presence with a variety of different events throughout the year. People still refer to the Cadence Bank Center as the Expo Center. Getting lunch at Millers, dinner at the Gin and a milkshake from Big Chew Chews will always make for a great day. If it's late Grand Avenue and Cinemark have movies ready and Bo's will let you spin around on the dancefloor until 2 am if you'd like. If you want to go to the big city just hop on I-35 and you'll be in Waco or Georgetown in 40 minutes.
Personal
I was blessed to be raised with a strong family presence in the small town of Seguin Texas. I grew up playing baseball, fishing and hunting with my family and friends. I was blessed with the opportunity to play college baseball at TLU in Seguin for a couple of years before transferring to UMHB in 2019. While at UMHB I was able to play under Coach Stawski, Coach Wilson and Todd Haney (who was still pretty quick when he was 58) while pursuing my bachelors and masters degrees. In 2021 I had surgery that made me talk like batman for a few months but ended up meeting my fiancée in a class we had together that spring. While being away from our families may be tough at times, we have been blessed to call this not so small town our home and I hope I get the chance to find a home in our growing community.
Professional
Growing up I had some side hustles from plumbing with my dad's company to showing rabbits for FFA. When I wasn't walking miles up and down the creek trying to catch my next bass, I would help around the family property to get money for the lure I left in the tree by the bridge. In college, I was able to earn some money coaching for my select baseball team in the summer and working at Academy in Temple in the winter. When baseball was over, I was blessed with the opportunity to get into medical sales through an alumni of UMHB baseball. While I enjoyed the relationships I made and the constant challenges of that job, I knew that I needed something else. After months of thinking and planning, I decided to follow in my brothers footsteps and become a real estate agent. This will give me the ability to utilize my attention to detail and determination to help ease the stress brought on from buying or selling a house.
While the excitement and stress brought on by looking for a new house can be overwhelming at times, I am here to work day and night to help you with every step in the process. If given the opportunity to be your real estate agent, I will use my knowledge and resources to help ease the stress so that you can focus on making your new house a home.
