Patti Chesney

I love calling Austin home and am blessed to have lived in the Austin area for over 40 years!  After graduating from The University of Texas with a BS in Civil Engineering, I worked with developers in the planning and design of subdivisions during one of the first building booms in Austin.  I still get excited watching neighborhoods rise up from the ground and fill with beautiful homes! I am also love the home building and remodeling process; my husband, Joe, and I have remodeled a number of homes over the years and built several homes from the ground up as well.

We raised two children in Austin, and while they were growing up, I followed them into the educational field and I enjoyed teaching math, conducting professional development for teachers and walking alongside parents as a school administrator. Now that our two children have little ones of their own, I enjoy spending time with four grandchildren and look forward to a new little one this summer! When we aren’t working, my husband and I enjoy getting outside in our yard, exploring new hike and bike trails in Austin, finding new restaurants, listening to music, or being involved in our church and our grandchildren’s school.
