Kim Wong

Hello! My name is Kim Wong. I was born in Cambodia, and my family came to the United States when I was 9 years old. I spent my childhood in Boston, Massachusetts where I met my husband. We have 4 children, two girls and two boys, as well as a 3-year-old grandson and another one on the way. We moved to Cedar Park in 2007 to get away from the cold northeast weather and to continue to raise our family. Moving to the Austin area was the best decision we could have made for our kids and for our family.

While the weather is what drew us here. Many other qualities of the greater-Austin area attracted us to put down our roots. Great school systems for families including top-rated public, private, and charter schools. A stable economy and job market with sustained growth. Great culture, diversity, and inclusiveness. My personal favorite is the friendly Texas Way - neighbors and everyone in the community are extremely friendly. And, of course, affordable real estate.

As a newly empty-nester, I like to spend my free time visiting my children at colleges and, generally speaking, helping people.
