Kim Wilks

I knew I wanted a career in real estate from the moment my partner and I found our first home in Austin in 1991. We were young, inexperienced, and under-funded social workers, but the agent working with us was calm, knowledgeable, and confident that she could help us purchase our dream home. She helped us immensely! She was a wonderful guide on what was a slightly scary journey and I knew one day I wanted to help others find their dream homes too. 

In the meantime, I spent 23 years helping people by working with a non-profit first as a caseworker, and later as a Graphic Designer in their communications department. And, I bring those communication skills to my career as a real estate professional. 

I’m familiar with all areas of Austin, having lived in central, far south, and now east Austin, and can help you whether you are selling, buying or leasing a property. Most importantly, I’m an excellent listener, and I’m looking forward to hearing YOUR ideas for your perfect living space.

In my free time, I love prowling around Austin looking for living spaces others may have missed, hiking one of our many beautiful trails, doing DIY projects at home, and hanging out with my scruffy little dogs - Chicken and Waffles.
