Hi, I’m Kim B. It is such a privilege to be a part of your property search and be a part of this incredible team!    A huge part of my decision to join this firm is because it lives and breathes its mission to “Help People;” I mean, why else are we here?   I am devoted to helping and guiding you in achieving your goals of buying, selling or leasing that special place called home.

Buying, selling or leasing real estate is one of the most important financial decisions of life and involves much change; and with that transition often comes uncertainty and challenges. Finding solutions and offering authentic support and guidance through those processes is crucial!  I know that offering my knowledge and experience during these transitional periods is what will get you to the finish line smoothly!  My life has been a series of transitions, and I love to share techniques and guidance I’ve received to help my clients through their real estate endeavors. This process is so fun and fulfilling. I am so excited to work tirelessly and smartly for you!

Professionally, I’ve been in the Texas real estate industry for the past ten years in residential housing and acreage subdivisions. Whether buying, selling or leasing a home or a piece of land, precision and details are key to success! Exploring and discovering just the right places for my clients to call home is one of my favorite parts of real estate.  Every day is an adventure! 

After years of living in cities, this business coincidentally brought me back to my hometown of Burnet where I’ve lived since 2015.  Previously, I was an energy commodities broker, having initially entered that business in 1998 as a commodities pricing journalist in Houston; this is where I learned the critical importance of finding a commodity’s accurate price and where I fell in love with markets.  Real estate is the world’s most precious commodity, and this entire Central Texas market is truly dazzling!  I love this community which offers so much!  I love spending time exploring the Highland Lakes with my precious pup twins, Skipper and Gilligan; practicing yoga (my passion and therapy lol); playing golf (or trying to play lol) and finding amazing new restaurants and live music venues with my friends and family in Austin.  I feel so lucky to be able to enjoy the full scope of amenities of the entire Central Texas region!  Austin is home to me too, as well as my daughter, Brigit—both of us having lived in the city and graduating from the University of Texas with degrees in journalism; that spirit of journalism—digging for and revealing truth—is no different than digging for and finding the gem you’ll call home.

Watching and experiencing Austin’s transition has been a marvel. My memories go back to my high school and college years when the town was less than half its current size—but still just as fun!  I was also in Austin during the early ‘90s after graduation, working at the Austin Business Journal, the Austin American-Statesman and as an aspiring actress (think lots of non-speaking, extra and stand-in parts in pilots and films brought here by the Austin Film Commission—and many car dealership commercials lol)! I love having been a part of the city’s transition. It’s been magical and I can’t wait to be a part of your magical journey.
