James "Jim" Payne

As a proud San Antonio native and U.S. Air Force veteran, I’m excited to continue serving people by helping homeowners and future homeowners with their real estate needs.  During my 33-year career in the military, I honed my skills in communication, planning, management and using available resources to accomplish the mission.  With our incredible JB Goodwin team and my demonstrated experiences, your real estate interests are in extremely capable hands.

As a husband and a father of four grown children, I’ve experienced the process of working with various real estate agents and buying and selling my own homes in Texas and other states throughout my career.  Purchasing a home can be one of the largest financial decisions you will ever make, and it’s often overwhelming and stressful.  I understand the value of a caring, compassionate and competent agent; I will help minimize that stress and streamline the administrative requirements to help you achieve your real estate goals.
