Ever since I first visited Austin, I fell in love with the city. I knew this would be a great place to live which is why ten years ago we moved here with our wonderful family of 4 kids. Austin has everything to offer to everyone; lakes, rivers, infinite number of outdoor activities, live music venues, soccer, auto and motorbikes racing, and much more. We feel very fortunate to be part of this community.
I have seen how Austin has continued to grow and evolve into a vibrant city, transforming into an incredibly important technology hub. Companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, Tesla, Oracle, Samsung, data centers, and many other industries are in the process, or have already expanded operations or moved headquarters to Texas. Austin, Buda, San Marcos, Kyle, Manor, Taylor, Hutto, Round Rock and many other areas have been experiencing important growth in all sectors. These have posed incredible challenges to the real estate industry in Austin, especially in the residential sector where double digits positive migration rate in Austin has placed enormous pressure on the market.
I graduated with a BSc. in Industrial Engineering and then pursued a Master of Business Administration. My background has been diverse, the early years of my career were in the corporate world working for Procter and Gamble in Venezuela in purchasing and strategic sourcing. In addition, I was responsible for several key management areas for SHV Holdings, a company headquartered in the Netherlands. In the last several years, I have been involved in entrepreneur businesses representing US brands in Mexico and Latin America as well as real estate ventures where I was personally involved in the selection, acquisition of land, financing, construction, and selling single-family units for investors.
During my corporate experience in strategic sourcing and my years managing distribution businesses, I was deeply involved in contract negotiations. My education and professional background helped me develop exceptional skills with numbers, finance, negotiations, management, and economics. Understanding how businesses operate, and the forces behind shifts in the economy and how they affect real estate transactions are key for successfully navigating this market.
