It took a good eye to know what was essential to be done to sell our house.  It took focus to organize the labor, effort and time to be there on site for the appointments, and lots of follow-up to pursue documentation that had to be completed.  Probably about 90% of that effort came from Cindy since I was in California and unable, most of the time, to be of any practical help.  There was one point in time when I believe she actually became the property manager, doing much much more than a real estate agent would normally take on.  But she understood the difficulty of the situation and how much this house needed to be sold by summer, and she jumped in with two feet and did more than ever could have been expected.  Not only did she take on the physical work of dealing with the premises, but also the encouragement given to me through my bouts of denial, worry, frustration, choices, confusion, lack of knowledge, good/bad ideas...al of that times two.  It certainly was a challenge to manage this project and manage all the disparate elements, and you did it beautifully.  To say "Thank You" is simply not enough.  Would have been an absolute disaster had you not been there at every turn.  Your consummate skill, experience, and industry knowledge led me through the last few months.  But it was your heart, your kindness and your loyalty to me and to the project that touched me the most.  My appreciation and thanks to you are deeply felt.  Both Stan and I are so happy to say this book is closed on this transaction and we can move on toward retirement together because a good friend stepped in to help out when we needed her most.
