Chase Gomillion

Hi there, my name is Chase Gomillion. Since 2022, I have lived in Hutto with my lovely wife Tuesday, but I am by no means new to the area. I was born in San Antonio, then migrated with my family to the Austin region in 1994. I’m very happy to say that I have been a lifelong Texan, with family roots that go back to the founding of this great state. As you might expect with my background, I’m not going to break any records for originality as far as my interests go: I love smoking meat, eating breakfast tacos multiple times a week (I can quit any time I want, honest!), and consider any visit to another state an international trip.

I received my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University in 2008, graduating with honors. After that, I decided to go into law, receiving my Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School in 2014, with a concentration in Criminal Law. I’ve been a practicing attorney ever since, with a decade of serving as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Austin Law Department. Along with standard criminal prosecution, I specialize in litigating, enforcing, and drafting complex municipal regulations that relate to land development, building codes, and many different types of business. Over the course of my legal career I’ve accumulated a large amount of experience in court, serving as lead counsel in several hundred jury and bench trials. I’ve also developed substantial expertise in appellate work, having litigated cases at all levels of appeal, including the Supreme Court of Texas. My career has allowed me to be involved in very important issues affecting both the Austin area and Texas as a whole. I am proud of what I have accomplished as a lawyer, and consider myself very blessed to have been given the opportunities that I have.

I’ve recently decided to pursue a second career in real estate, as I’ve been intrigued by everything I’ve been involved in on the legal side of the business. I believe the wealth of experience I’ve earned in my law career gives me a unique edge in representing my clients as a real estate agent. I am a tireless fighter for my clients, bringing the passion, knowledge, and highly refined negotiating skills that I’ve painstakingly built up over ten years of legal practice.
